What Information Do We Collect? Almost None

This is an information and remembrance site only: there is no registration, no forms, no comments and no collection of personal details, and we set no tracking cookies.

To understand overall site usage we rely on Cloudflare Web Analytics. The tool works without cookies, collects no personal identifiers, does not follow you across sites, and provides us with aggregate figures only — such as the number of visits and the pages viewed.

As you browse, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare, which operates a global server network) automatically processes technical data required to serve and secure the site — such as IP address and browser type — in short-lived operational logs. We do not use this data to identify visitors.

Links to External Sites

The site links to external services: donations (PayPal), the monument’s Facebook page, and navigation (Waze / Google Maps). Clicking them takes you to the external site, where that service’s privacy policy applies. The entire donation process takes place on the external site — payment details do not pass through our site and are never visible to us.

Photos on the Site

The photos on this site are published with permission. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed — contact us at the address above and we will remove it promptly.
